The recognition
Governor Jared Polis wrote that Serve Aurora's work to provide essential on-the-ground resources and dedicated support to local low-income and unhoused populations is essential. The letter recognized the Serve Aurora Safety and Security Program.
Earlier recognition
In 2025, Serve Aurora was recognized in a letter from Governor Polis and in a City of Aurora proclamation from Mayor Mike Coffman, which recognized the professional nonprofit security services of its safety division, Pinnacle Defense.
